I am a high school English teacher in her 20th year, and I am a writer, editor, proofreader, and a reading and writing instructor. I’m in my 16th year in my second school, and I’ve been the English Department chair since 2008. I teach American Literature, Advanced Placement English Language, and I’m preparing to teach IB English Language and Literature. When I’m not working, reading, writing, or researching—I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and traveling with my husband, sons, friends, and even by myself. I also enjoy photography, especially nature photography, and I appreciate visual arts as well as performance art. I follow politics, and it stresses me out!
